Cuentos Fantásticos is a classroom tested curriculum for teaching the first and second years of Spanish using the innovative TPR Storytelling Method developed by Blaine Ray. Since its inception fifteen years ago, TPR Storytelling has revolutionized the process of teaching and learning a foreign language. Students learn vocabulary through gestures and movement and then practice the language with storytelling. With this method students naturally develop a real ear for the language, as they spend much of class time actively listening to interesting and comprehensible language.
